Hart Memorial Trophy
Hart Memorial Trophy on jääkiekkopalkinto, joka jaetaan vuosittain NHL:n runkosarjan päättyessä pelaajalle, jonka katsotaan olevan arvokkain omalle joukkueelleen. Palkinnon voittaja valitaan Professional Hockey Writers' Associationin äänestyksessä. Se jaettiin ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1924.[1][2]

Hart Memorial Trophy jaettiin ensimmäisen kerran kaudella 1923–1924 nimellä Hart Trophy. Palkinnon lahjoitti NHL:lle tohtori David Hart, joka toimi urallaan muun muassa Montreal Canadiensin valmentajana ja managerina. Vuonna 1960 alkuperäinen Hart Trophy annettiin Hockey Hall of Fameen ja tilalle tehtiin uusi palkinto, jonka nimeen lisättiin edelleen käytössä oleva sana ”memorial”.[1][2]
Jo vuodesta 1945 asti jokainen Hart Memorial Trophyn voittanut jääkiekkoilija on nimetty myös Hockey Hall of Fameen.[3]
