The Ventures on vuonna 1958 perustettu yhdysvaltalainen yhtye, joka soittaa instrumentaalirockia. Yhtyeen musiikki on paikoin hyvin lähellä surfmusiikkia ja rautalankamusiikkia. Samantyyppinen yhtye on muiden muassa brittiläinen The Shadows, joka on soittanut pääasiassa instrumentaalimusiikkia. The Venturesin nykykokoonpanossa ei enää soita yhtään alkuperäisjäsentä. Yhtye tunnettiin aikanaan nopeasta levytystahdistaan: vuonna 1965 yhtyeeltä ilmestyi peräti 11 albumia. Viime vuosina yhtye on levyttänyt harvakseltaan, mutta keikkailee edelleen ahkerasti. Yhtyeen tunnetuimpia kappaleita ovat muun muassa ”Walk, Don’t Run”, ”Hawaii Five-O” ja ”Surf On Guitar”. The Ventures on käynyt kerran myös Suomessa vuonna 1989 Tavastia-klubilla kokoonpanolla Jerry McGhee, Don Wilson, Bob Bogle ja Mel Taylor. Sali oli täynnä rautalankamusiikin harrastajia, niin kuuntelijoita kuin soittajia.
The Venturesin perustivat vuonna 1958 Bob Bogle (bassokitara), Don Wilson (komppikitara) ja Nokie Edwards (soolokitara). Mukaan yhtyeeseen otettiin rumpali Skip Moore. Alkuvuosina rumpalit vaihtuivat muutamaan otteeseen, kunnes vuonna 1962 yhtyeeseen liittyi Mel Taylor, joka soitti yhtyeessä aina kuolemaansa saakka. Yhtyeen esikoisalbumi Walk, Don't Run julkaistiin vuonna 1960. Sen nimikappale on edelleen yhtyeen tunnetuimpia kappaleita.
1970-luvulla muutamilla The Venturesin levyillä soittivat studiomuusikot, sillä aito yhtye keikkaili ahkerasti ympäri maailmaa. The Venturesia on kritisoitu ja syytetty yleisön pettämisestä 1970-luvulla. The Ventures lopetti studiomuusikoiden käytön 1980-luvun alussa kokonaan.
The Ventures piti levytystauon vuosina 1983–1995. Vaikka yhtye ei ole enää vuosiin tehnyt menestyskappaleita, yhtyeen konsertit ovat menestyksiä. Nykyisin yhtye on suosittu etenkin Japanissa. Yhtyeen uusin studioalbumi on vuonna 2004 julkaistu Ventures Forever.
