Adrian Borland

Adrian Borland (6. joulukuuta 1957 – 26. huhtikuuta 1999) oli brittiläinen rockmuusikko. Hän tuli tunnetuksi The Outsidersin ja siitä kehittyneen post-punk-yhtye The Soundin keulahahmona. Jälkimmäinen loi menestyksekkään uran vuosina 1978–1987.

The Soundin hajoamisen jälkeen vuonna 1987 Borland julkaisi useita sooloalbumeja. Kerran hän mainitsi kaikkien aikojen suosikkikappaleekseen The Waterboysin ”The Whole of the Moonin”.

Adrian Borlandin hautakivi

Borland kärsi pitkäaikaisesta depressiosta ja teki itsemurhan heittäytymällä junan alle Lontoossa 1999.
