Harry Harrison

Harry Maxwell Harrison (12. maaliskuuta 1925 Stamford, Connecticut, Yhdysvallat – 15. elokuuta 2012) oli yhdysvaltalainen tieteiskirjailija.

Harry Harrison syntyi Henry Maxwell Dempseynä. Harryn isä muutti perheen nimen Harrisoniksi ja myöhemmin Harry Harrison muutti nimensä myös virallisesti Harry Max Harrisoniksi.

Harrison asui elämänsä aikana monissa paikossa, muun muassa Meksikossa, Britanniassa, Tanskassa ja Italiassa, mutta asui kuolemaansa asti Dublinissalähde?. Hän palveli toisessa maailmansodassa Yhdysvaltojen armeijassa. Harrison on aiemmin ollut Irlannin kansallisen esperantojärjestön kunniapuheenjohtaja.

Hänet on nimetty yhdeksi tieteiskirjallisuuden Grand Mastereista.[1]
