Ealing Studios

Ealing Studios on brittiläinen televisio- ja elokuvatuotantoyhtiö ja studiokokonaisuus Ealingin kaupunginosassa läntisessä Lontoossa. Studiot tulivat tunnetuiksi erityisesti 1950-luvun taitteen komediaelokuvista kuten Varastin miljoonan, Naisentappajat, Viskiä, viskiä!, Kruunupäitä ja hyviä sydämiä, Mies valkoisessa puvussa ja Passi Pimlicoon. Ne tuotti yleensä Michael Balcon.

Ealing-studioiden ensimmäinen rakennus, nykyinen hallintorakennus The White Lodge.

Studiot saivat alkunsa jo vuonna 1902, kun Will Barker osti The White Lodge -nimisen rakennuksen Ealing Greenissä. Ealing Studios on vanhin yhä toiminnassa oleva elokuvastudio maailmassa. ja äänielokuvien tuotanto alkoi 1931.

Ealing-studioiden elokuvatuotanto oli vilkkaimmillaan vuosina 1929–1955. Vuonna 1946 studioiden omistajaksi tuli J. Arthur Rankin omistama brittiläinen elokuvajätti The Rank Organisation, joka omisti 1950-luvun taitteessa neljä muutakin brittiläistä elokuvastudiota (Pinewood Studios, Denham Film Studios, Lime Grove Studios ja Islington Studios). Vuodesta 1955 Ealing-studiot omisti Britannian julkisen palvelun radio- ja televisioyhtiö BBC, mutta myi ne 1995. Vuodesta 2000 Ealing Studios on jälleen tuottanut elokuvia perinteisellä nimellään. Tiloissa toimii myös elokuvakoulu The Metropolitan Film School of London.
