Yhteenveto

Kuvaus

Robert Byron Drury Blakeney (1872–1952), aka R.B.D. Blakeney. He was a British Army officer and fascist politician. After a career with the Royal Engineers, Blakeney went on to serve as President of the British Fascists.

This and other photographs were taken by an anonymous Daily Mirror photographer after Blakeney's daughter was drowned in an accident at Richmond, Surrey, England.

Note: Newspaper photographers were usually anonymous in this type of situtation, as was this one. However, care has been taken to try to establish the identity of the photographer and any claim to copyright, via online, libraries, books, magazines, archives etc., but none has been found.
