Murder of the Universe
Murder of the Universe on australialaisen yhtyeen King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizardin kymmenes studioalbumi, joka julkaistiin 23. kesäkuuta 2017. Albumi on toinen viidestä albumista, jotka yhtye julkaisi vuoden 2017 aikana.[1][2] Yhtyeen aiempi albumi, Flying Microtonal Banana julkaistiin vain noin neljä kuukautta aiemmin.

"Murder of the Universe" on konseptialbumi, joka koostuu kolmesta toisiinsa epäsuorasti liittyvästä kappalekokonaisuudesta: ”The Tale of the Altered Beast”, ”The Lord of Lightning vs. Balrog” ja ”Han-Tyumi and the Murder of the Universe”. Kaikissa kolmessa kappalekokonaisuudessa on kertojaääni; kahdessa ensimmäisessä on ihmisääni ja viimeisessä on tietokoneen puhesyntetisaattorilla tuotettu synteettinen kertojaääni.
