The Lemonheads

The Lemonheads on bostonilainen alternative rock -yhtye, jonka perustivat vuonna 1986 Evan Dando, Ben Deily ja Jesse Peretz. Dando on yhtyeen ainoa alkuperäinen jäsen. Muut nykyiset jäsenet ovat Vess Ruhtenberg, Devon Ashley, Mark Cutsinger.

Yhtyeen musiikissa oli punk-vaikutteita alkuaikoina, mutta myöhemmin heidän musiikkinsa meni kohti "college rockia". Lemonheads sai suosiota ja pääsi suuren yleisön tietoisuuteen vuonna 1992, kun he tekivät levytyssopimuksen ja julkaisivat albumin It's a Shame about Ray. Seuraavaksi yhtye teki coverin Simon & Garfunkelin kappaleesta "Mrs. Robinson", josta tuli yhtyeen menestynein single. Lemonheads oli aktiivinen vuoteen 1997 asti ennen kuin jäi tauolle. Comebackin yhtye teki uudella kokoonpanolla vuonna 2005 ja julkaisi Lemonheads -albumin seuraavana vuonna. Yhtye julkaisi uusimman albuminsa Varshons kesäkuussa 2009.
