Taustaa

Albumi on myynyt kaksinkertaista platinaa kotimaassaan Yhdysvalloissa. Vaikka se onkin myynyt hyvin, se ei kuitenkaan ollut edellisen pitkäsoiton The Downward Spiralin kaltainen menestys maineessaan ja myynnissään. Albumi jatkaa edellisen studioalbumin juonta.^lähde?

Kappaleista "The Day the World Went Away" ja "We’re in This Together" julkaistiin singlet sekä kappaleesta "Into the Void" Australiassa.

Levyn vinyylipainoksessa on kaksi kappaletta, jotka eivät ole mukana CD:llä, "10 Miles High" ja "The New Flesh", mutta ne löytyvät myös "We’re in this together" -CD-singlen B-puolelta.
