Norman syntyi [[Corpus Christi]]ssä, [[Teksas]]issa, mutta muutti kolmevuotiaana perheensä kanssa [[Los Angeles]]issa. Hän oli suosionsa huipulla [[1970-luku|1970-luvulla]], mutta jatkoi uraansa [[2000-luku|2000-luvulle]] saakka.
