On my part you are welcome improving the Finnish Wikipedia. The most important criteria is the same as in the English-language one, namely sourcing. Perfect grammar is not, of course. And I am not surprised to learn you are from Madison yourself.
I returned the basics of your edit into the article.
Naturally I hope that also in future you synchronise your text with appropriate sources (if needeed by foregoing any claims of relative popularity and giving some general sources). Whatever words you use and whatever sports it is that is popular in your home city; american football, soccer, basketball, baseball, frisbee, ice hockey or even [[saappaanheitto]].
