Likewise, the Office will not register a government edict issued by any foreign government or any translation prepared by a government employee acting within the course of his or her official duties." In 2011 the Budapest Municipality Assembly has approved the new flag of the Hungarian capital. The change was "necessary" because Budapest's former flag was very similar to that of Romania, Budapest Mayor István Tarlós argued
