English: A veteran of the Falklands Conflict wears his medals with pride at a memorial service for the 30th anniversary of the conflict.

Veterans from Operation Corporate, the retaking of the Falkland Islands, convened at 42 Commando Royal Marines on Saturday 9 Jun 12 in order to mark the 30th Anniversary of the campaign.

Over 300 attended the event, including a number of VIP guests and serving members of 42 Commando. The event included a parade, memorial service and a series of displays showcasing both Falklands era and current weapons and equipment.
