Image location: Gold Bug Park, Placerville, California, USA This is observation is from the same spot as this observation – https://mushroomobserver.org/62282?q=3SSw Growing on a rocky formation along the side of a road where small twigs and wood fragments collect near moss and plenty of water drains here. The largest cap was 1.9 cm across while the rest are around 1 cm or less. I am spore printing now and drying specimens intended for microscopy.
