Barry Gills

Barry Keith Gills[1] (s. 22. toukokuuta 1956, Washington, Yhdysvallat)[2] on yhdysvaltalainen yhteiskuntatieteilijä, joka on toiminut globaalin kehitystutkimuksen professorina Helsingin yliopiston valtiotieteellisessä tiedekunnassa 1. elokuuta 2013 lähtien.[2][3][4] Hän valmistui maisteriksi Havaijin yliopiston Mānoan kampuksella vuonna 1983 ja väitteli tohtoriksi London School of Economics -yliopistossa vuonna 1995.[2][1] Vuosina 2006–2013 hän toimi maailmanpolitiikan professorina Newcastlen yliopistossa.[5] Hän on myös Globalizations-tiedejulkaisun päätoimittaja.[6]
