Alma Cogan

Alma Cogan (oik. Alma Angela Cohen; 19. toukokuuta 1932 Whitechapel – 26. lokakuuta 1966 Lontoo) oli englantilainen laulaja. Hän aloitti uransa 1940-luvun lopussa orkesterin solistina 15-vuotiaana ja toimi aluksi varieteetaiteilijana. Muutettuaan Lontooseen hän alkoi esittää perinteistä popmusiikkia.

Cogan oli aikansa parhaiten palkattu naispuolinen viihdetaiteilija Englannissa. Hän tuli tunnetuksi kikattavasta laulutyylistään, joka syntyi vahingossa hänen levyttäessään laulua ”If I Had a Golden Umbrella”. Suomessa hänen tunnetuimpia kappaleitaan olivat ”The Tennessee Waltz” ja ”I Love You Much, Too Much”. Cogan kuoli munasarjasyöpään vain 34-vuotiaana vuonna 1966.
