Hi, please forgive me for writing in English. This is really a trifle; your Finland maps show the Åland Islands much closer to the mainland than they are. They’re hardly part of Sweden, but they’re a bit further out; can you edit the maps to reflect this? Maybe add some more of the smaller islands in, and you could show more of the ‘trail’ from mainland Finland. : Hei. It may be appropriate to tell A little bit about background of this image first. The original bitmap drawing of map of Finland here in Commons originates from 2007 by user Ningyou, and I have just redrawn it as svg on the same year. Thus map projection, mistakes etc. are all inherited from the original. I fully agree that map projection here is a little bit unconventional, especially when compared to Google Maps, which chooses to show Finland with even wider "shoulders". However, if I match orientation and the width of Southern Finland with other base maps, Åland Islands are surprisingly well in the same location in both maps. So it seems to me like latitudinal scale is about correct assuming this map projection is feasible. While I cannot argue if the current map and its projection are the most obvious choices, they are not fundamentally wrong. This combined with the fact that I do not have much time to spend on wiki-projects anymore means that I have to leave this to somebody else if this kind of changes are needed.
