The Agonist

The Agonist (aikaisemmin The Tempest) on kanadalainen melodista deathmetalia soittava yhtye. Montrealissa vuonna 2004 perustetun yhtyeen jäseniin kuuluu laulaja Vicky Psarakis, kitaristi Danny Marino, basisti Chris Kells, rumpali Simon McKay ja kiertuekitaristi Chris Adolph. The Agonist tunnetaan erityisesti laulajien tavasta yhdistellä murinalaulua ja puhdasta laulua. Yhtye levyttää Century Media Recordsille. 17.3.2014 yhtye ilmoitti Facebook-sivuillaan laulaja Alissa White-Gluzin jättäneen yhtyeen. Uudeksi laulajaksi ilmoitettiin Vicky Psarakis.
