Rodney Crowell
Rodney Crowell (s. 7. elokuuta 1950 Houston, Texas[1]) on yhdysvaltalainen country-muusikko, lauluntekijä ja tuottaja.[1]

Crowell syntyi musikaaliseen perheeseen Houstonissa Texasissa. Hän muodosti ensimmäisen yhtyeensä, the Arbitrators, ollessaan lukiossa. Vuonna 1972 hän muutti Nashvilleen tullakseen ammattimuusikoksi. Nashvillessä hän tutustui Townes Van Zandtiin ja Guy Clarkiin.[1]
Vuonna 1988 Crowell teki kaupallisen läpimurron Diamonds & Dirt -albumilla, jolta listaykköseksi nousi viisi singleä: ”It's Such a Small World” (duetto Rosanne Cashin kanssa), ”I Couldn't Leave You If I Tried”, ”She's Crazy for Leavin'” (kirjoitettu yhdessä Guy Clarkin kanssa), ”After All This Time” ja ”Above and Beyond”. Keys to the Highway -albumi (1989) menestyi myös erittäin hyvin.[1]
Crowellin lauluja ovat levyttäneet Keith Urban, Bob Seger, The Oak Ridge Boys, Waylon Jennings, Emmylou Harris, Rosanne Cash ja Johnny Cash.
