Edmund Morgan

Edmund Sears Morgan (17. tammikuuta 1916 – 8. heinäkuuta 2013) oli yhdysvaltalainen historioitsija. Hän loi merkittävän julkaisu-uran ja sai Pulitzer-palkinnon vuonna 2006.

Minneapolisissa syntynyt Morgan opiskeli Belmont Hill Schoolissa ja Harvardin yliopistossa. Jälkimmäisessä häntä opetti itsekin Pulitzer-palkittu professori Perry Miller.

Morgan opetti vuosina 1945–1946 Chicagon ja sen jälkeen vuoteen 1955 Brownin yliopistossa. Vuonna 1955 hänestä tuli Yalen yliopiston professori. Hänet tunnetaan Yhdysvaltain historiaa käsittelevästä tutkimuksesta.
