New Yorkin kaupunginyliopisto (City University of New York, CUNY [ˈkjuːni]) on New Yorkin kaupungin ylläpitämä julkisten korkeakoulujen järjestelmä, joka on Yhdysvaltain niin sanotuista kaupunkiyliopistoista (urban university systems) suurin yli 270 000 opiskelijallaan. CUNY on koko Yhdysvaltojen kolmanneksi suurin yliopistojärjestelmä New Yorkin osavaltionyliopiston (SUNY) ja Kalifornian osavaltionyliopiston (CSU) jälkeen.
Vuonna 1847 perustettu CUNY on joutunut toimintansa aikana suuriin taloudellisiin vaikeuksiin muun muassa vuosina 1976[1] ja 1995.
