American League

American League of Professional Baseball Clubs, tai yksinkertaisesti American League (AL), on toinen kahdesta liigasta, jotka muodostavat Major League Baseballin Yhdysvalloissa ja Kanadassa. Se kehittyi Western leaguesta, suurten järvien alueella toimineesta ns. minor leaguesta, ja sai lopulta Major League aseman.
