The Originals oli yhdysvaltalainen R&B-Soul -yhtye, joka perustettiin 1966. Heidän tunnetuimpia kappaleitaan olivat "Baby I'm For Real", "The Bells" sekä discohitti "Down to Love Town".

Ty Hunterin kuoleman jälkeen 1981 yhtye lopetti musiikinteon ja lopetti toimintansa vuonna 1982.
Freddie Gormanin kuoleman jälkeen hänen poikansa, Dillon Gorman kasasi yhtyeen uudestaan vuonna 2006. Uuteen yhtyeeseen liittyivät alkuperäisestä tuttu Hank Dixon, Hank Dixonin tytär Terrie Dixon sekä Gene Chandlerin poika Defrantz Forrest
