Apologies for writing this in English, but my Finnish is non-existent. Based on a misleading sentence in his old website, he was considered a professor in Germany, Austria and the USA. The correct sequence is lecturer in Germany and Austria, and "assistant professor" in the USA. For the latter, see the Arizona State University website. While Rampe never claimed to be a German or Austrian professor himself, he never corrected others who did. The German Wikipedia page has since corrected these errors.
