Judy Blume

Judith "Judy" Blume, o.s. Sussman, (s. 12. helmikuuta 1938 Elizabeth, New Jersey, Yhdysvallat) on yhdysvaltalainen nuortenkirjailija.[1][2]tarvitaan parempi lähde Hänen kirjojaan on painettu noin 70 miljoonaa kappaletta, ja niitä on käännetty yli kolmellekymmenelle kielelle.[3] Useat hänen teoksensa ovat joutuneet Yhdysvaltojen etelävaltioissa sensuurin hampaisiin muun muassa roisin kielenkäytön ja seksuaalisten kuvauksien vuoksi.[4]

Judy avioitui 1959 John M. Blumen kanssa. Heillä on kaksi lasta, 1961 syntynyt tytär ja 1963 syntynyt poika. Pari erosi 1976[1][2] Samana vuonna hän avioitui Thomas A. Kitchensin kanssa. He erosivat 1979.[5] Vuonna 1987 hän avioitui George Cooperin kanssa.[6]
